Finances and Giving 

A few churches have asked how we can not withhold any amount from gifts given to our missionaries and still finance our operations here in the US.  Let me take this opportunity to explain.   Grace Gospel Missions is recognized both in the state of Oklahoma and with the US Federal IRS as a not for profit corporation able to receive tax-free donations under our 501c status.  All gifts to GGM are tax deductible.  Grace Gospel Missions is a grace ministry that is dependant upon the Lord Jesus Christ for its very existence.  Our financial statement is available to those who support and are involved with us or those who may wish to co-labor with us. 

   When you give to GGM you can give to our general fund or make a designated gift.  Donations to our general fund are in part used to fund our work in sending newsletters, purchasing necessary supplies and equipment, and other operational expenses.   We have no
paid staff.  All staff and board members serve voluntarily.  If they are working full time at GGM,  such as Rhonda Gross, they are considered home missionaries and raise their own support.

Designated gifts can be given for a specific missionary, project (such as Bibles or Bible Institutes), or mission area (such as Mexico or Africa).  When you give a designated gift the full amount of your gift goes to its designation.  GGM does not hold out any service fee or accounting fee from designated gifts.  So if you give $1000.00 to purchase Bibles for Africa you can be certain $1000.00 worth of Bibles will find their way into the homes of African believers.  GGM also does not use gifts designated for a specific region to send staff to those regions.  Our staff members pay for their mission trips just like you who go with us.  We do not use general funds to send staff members on mission trips.  We use your designated gift in the area or for the missionary you designated and nothing else. 

Many of you choose to give non-designated gifts which are then received as gifts to the general fund and this is greatly appreciated.  While we do use a portion of those gifts for our operational expenses the bulk of those funds are also used on the mission field.
