In 2004 Dan and Pat Hill started Grace Gospel Missions as a ministry to train and send missionaries to help fulfill the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  GGM is a non-denominational, evangelical mission organization.

God has used Dan and Pat and GGM to establish Bible Training Centers in Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Mexico, and Liberia.  They have also trained and sent out short-term missionaries to many countries world-wide.  From this many unbelievers have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and many Christians have grown as they have been taught sound grace Bible teaching.

After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary Dan pastored churches in the US for 37 years.  From 1990 to 2010 he was the pastor of Southwood Bible Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During that time Pat was actively involved in mission work in Russia, Asia and Africa. Together Dan and Pat started traveling to Africa in 2002.  In 2010 God led them to become full-time missionaries in Liberia, West Africa.

Currently they live in Monrovia the capital of the war torn country of Liberia.  Liberia is the United States’ only colony established in 1821 as a homeland for freed slaves.  Liberia gained independence in 1848.  Up until 1980 Liberia prospered as the first democratic republic in Africa.

But from 1980 to 2003 Liberia suffered under dictators, wars and assassinations.  There is now an opportunity for peace and even a greater opportunity to help rebuild the nation with Jesus Christ.  Dan and Pat have found a great hunger for Christ, God’s Word and Grace in Liberia.

Their ministry in Liberia includes:

  • Evangelizing the lost often in cooperation with other mission organizations such as SIM (formerly Sudan Interior Missions now Serving in Missions), CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) and Samaritan’s Purse.

  • Teaching and Training Pastors and Church Leaders at conferences and seminars throughout Liberia.

  • Dan is a volunteer visiting professor teaching one course a semester at Monrovia Bible College in the Theology and Bible Departments.

  • Pat works with other Christian educators evaluating schools, planning curriculum which includes Bible teaching and teacher training.

  • GGM provides Bibles and discipleship materials for new believers as they begin the Christ Centered Life.

  • Dan has a weekly talk radio Bible program on ELWA radio in Monrovia.

  • Dan is working with various denominations teaching and training pastors as Pat trains Sunday School teachers.

  • Dan speaks in churches on Sundays bringing the grace message to many believers for the very first time.

  • Upcoming plans include a Bible Institute using the BTCP materials in the Fall of 2011.  This will be a multi-ministry effort that GGM will coordinate.
